Pop Evil Exclusive Interview With MI Evening Out

If your from Michigan and you don’t love Pop Evil there must be a problem. Pop Evil is Muskegon’s headlining band who has made it to the top and they dont plan on coming down anytime soon! Check out this exclusive interview we did with the band of Pop Evil

MI Evening Out: So what’s it like coming from a small town like Muskegon and making as
much footwork as you guys have ?

Pop Evil: It’s a good feeling to be from a small
town and be able to taste the level of success we have. It’s been a long
road but we are Proud to be from Muskegon and the roots we have there

MI Evening Out: Can you tell the fans a little bit about how Pop Evil got started in the
music industry and some info on who has been your biggest inspiration’s?
Pop Evil: It started along time ago playing anywhere and everywhere we could. If
they were paying we were playing. We had to make a living so we could
afford studio time and put together albums. Over the course of a few
years we finally made enough to record and it seemed to all snowball from
there. We had alot of musical inspirations but I wouldn’t say there was
one one in particular. We were always interested in writing our own
songs. Over the years we just got better at writing them.

MI Evening Out: You guys miraculously balance the music and food world with ease. If
you’re starting off a night of heavy drinking with a meal before hitting the club, where’s best place to go in Michigan?

Pop Evil: There are several restaurants in Michigan I like to go to especially in Muskegon. Whenever I get back I
love to go to the Station for a pre show burger then I love to get a late night pizza from Mr. Scribbs it’s become a Pop Evil Tradition!!!!

MI Evening Out:  You’re constantly playing some of the biggest clubs and venues in the
world. What’s your favorite and why?

Pop Evil: They are all unique in there own way
but Red Rocks in Denver, CO. Is pretty special.

MI Evening Out: Everyone knows you as one of the top Entertainers to come out of the Muskegon area. When it’s a night off, do you prefer a big-room, small lounge, or hole in the wall bar, and why?

Pop Evil: Again they all have there advantages but as long as they are jam packed with Pop Evil fans it doesn’t matter to me.
MI Evening Out:  Everyone’s had an issue or two with a doorman every now and then. Have
you guys ever had a run-in with a cocky doorman?

Pop Evil: Several times we have had that issue and they are hilarious stories however we still play these places so I have to keep a tight lip so I don’t start any drama haha.
MI Evening Out:  What do you see in the near future of Pop Evil’s career?

Pop Evil: Just constant touring. Staying out on the road and meeting as many people as possible. Got to spread the word.

MI Evening Out:  What’s it like living on the road? What are the pro’s and con’s? Got any
photos or videos? Our fans are dying to see what the tour bus looks like!

Pop Evil: It’s amazing to be traveling all over the Country over and over with ur
best friends Rocking out with tens of thousand Rock n Roll fans every
night. It’s the Dream and we are living it however we miss our Family
so that is definitely the hard part. There are tons of video of us on the
road ,on our bus  and on our Band tour journals. So make sure you check out
the bands YouTube page for new and older postings.

MI Evening Out:  If we were to look in the band’s refrigerator what would we find at
this moment?

Pop Evil: Actually all kinds of food crammed into a small space we live at Walmarts so everyone stocks up we have been road warriors for a long time now so everyone actually eats pretty healthy the buses have ice coolers for all the booze and drinks. The coolers are stocked daily with every drink you can imagine.

So on behalf of Pop Evil we Raise a toast to our home state of Michigan!!!!
