School worker sex case dates back to 2004

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) — A Muskegon Public Schools employee is facing two felony sex charges over allegations he had inappropriate contact with a young student.
Thomas Lopez, 36, appeared in court Thursday afternoon, where he was formally charged with first-degree and second degree criminal sexual conduct.  Lopez is being held in the Muskegon County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
